Anyone having issues with bulk "sell similar" duplicating listings? Safari

For the past week I've been getting duplicated listings by doing my daily end and sell similar of roughly 200 items. eBay catches some and spits them back as errors but 1 or 2 still slip through and I have to find them and remove.

Steps:

End 200 listings

Bulk Sell Similar on those listings

Ebay spits out 1-3 errors per day after the send that says "duplicated listings"

1 to 3 items are still duplicated in my live listings and I have to find which ones they are. Sometimes they are even the ones that showed as an error. Sometimes not.

This is in Safari

I'm currently testing on Chrome/PC (still sluggish there,  but no duplicates yet)

I have been having that problem for three days now. I dont know how many got reposted as I have well over 10,000 items in my store.

How long after ending the listings did you wait?

Listings are not closed in real time, They are queued for ending and the latency between your request and the action can vary with load conditions.

There are dangers to some of the folklore remedies for poor search placement, as well as uncertainty that they have any effect.

That latency is getting much worse and I'm delaying extra to account for it. Typically ending 200 listings will have all 200 show up in unsold instantly... the past couple of days when I click on unsold there will only be 140ish there, then after a minute or so all 200 will be ended.

This is a very new issue for me. I believe ebay is having some massive server issues at the moment. They don't seem to be processing as quickly lately. They had a large outage a few weeks back and my gut says they lost a bunch of servers and aren't back up to speed yet. No proof, just a gut feeling.

I've dealt with the occasional dropped photos from my folklore remedies but that taught me to delay the re-listing a bit. These past couple of weeks something is just off across the board and I'm trying to figure out if its just a Safari issue.

Was the problem definitely exclusive to Safari or did it happen with other browsers on Mac.

You said no problem with Chrome on PC. Did you check other browsers on PC?

Saw another report here.

Re: Anyone having issues with bulk "sell similar" duplicating listings? Safari

I've had the same problem using Google Chrome for last 2 days. I end listing, sell similar for 100 items, both times eBay gives doubles for 3 listings. Lucking all 3 sets of doubles were at the top of 'Newly Listed' so it didn't take long to remove them. If I didn't make it a habit of checking my numbers every single time I would be in a lot of trouble.

eBay needs to give a blanket free pass for the foreseeable future for incidents of Out of Stock cancellations, because not everyone will discover this major glitch.

Have you noticed whether it's using up twice as many free insertions?

@wastingtime101 I'm still testing a bit with Chrome. So far no duplicates but I am getting the same delays in Chrome...ie...

- End 200 listings

- Active listing page refreshes to zero listings

- I refresh , listings are back but they are reduced by a number less than 200 (unsold will also be around 140)

Wait 10 seconds, refresh again and the numbers are correct.

I have two accounts. On the other account I re-list about 45 at a time. I've had zero issues with that on Safari or Chrome so far. Seems like eBay is not handling larger bulk uploads well.
