I went to message a customer this morning about a shipment that was stuck in USPS land and is finally being delivered today. My message screen was blank....I backed out of it and finally go to the messages but when I click on the message thread it won't open. I can't even go to the orders page and message them.
Now what?!!
Anyone else having this problem?

A lot of people are having problems with messages. Click the ? icon on the lower right of the page, then near the bottom of that pop up select the option to file a tech report. (If on the app you can shake to report.) The more people reporting, the higher priority it gets from eBay.
In the meantime, you may have luck using the app instead of a browser or vice versa. You can also reply direct to the email if the message was CCed to your email.

Thank you @wastingtime101 ! I hate using the app but you are right. I can message using the app. You always have the answer. Have a great day.

Yes - if you look at the postings from yesterday you can see this became an issue for many people. I called EBAY and they were unaware of the issue then - I showed them the already increasing postings here and they created a work ticket for the issue , but had no idea when it would be worked on. It’s now two days and I cannot respond or see my EBAY messages ….. this is from a phone browser and a desk top browser. EBAY!! HELP US ! This is going to affect our money and your money!

Try a different desktop browser to rule out a problem with your specific browser. I am able to read and reply to messages using a browser on a desktop computer.
Try using the eBay app to read and reply to messages. That is currently working for me.
If you have eBay messages from members forwarded to your email, try reading those emails. You may be able to reply directly to the email (rather than using the blue "reply" button in the message itself which leads back to the eBay message inbox).
