Anyone else having issues with messages today? Not opening at all - Any alternative pls???

same issue , cant get messages and it tells me to go to help and contact , i think they are wasting our time until they figured out what they did wrong ,

Try another browser or another link. Or another browser mode (mobile, classic or desktop). Or the eBay app.

Message inbox seems to be working for me at the moment.

It still works from the summary page drop down selection beside the My eBay  at the top center of the summary page. It does not work today when clicking on "messages"  in the left sidebar of the summary page, just gives the error that OP stated. Been doing it all day and probably because of an eBay programming improvement patch last night, it is Thursday again.

I've already switched back to the older version and have had no problems.  I'm not sure why they wanted to change or fix something that was working fine originally.

Yes i have not been able to send a message to anyone for the last several hours. I am logged into ebay and when i click messages. i get this message. Hope they sort it soon.

Several links to messages - including top right of the page My eBay > Messages - are sending users to the defunct: https://mesg.ebay.com/mesgweb/ViewMessages/0

eBay needs to update the link to the new page:

https://www.ebay.com/cnt/ViewMessage

You can access messages using the second link.
