Just realized that if you use Ad Block Plus on Chrome and have it turned on, it BLOCKS listings from being shown. So if you search an item and ebay is telling you it has 29 results, only 4 results might actually show. I turned off Ad Block and immediately all 29 listings are shown again. This seems to be a recent issue, as I only noticed it 2 days ago and it was just today reported on this website: valueaddedresource.net/ebay-promoted-listings-ad-blocker/
Seems to be a pretty big issue and I wonder if it's why my sales have dropped dramatically. The majority of users use Chrome and lots of users use Ad Block when browsing. If listings are being blocked, how would a buyer find the listing.
Please eBay address this issue ASAP.

I have a feeling that ebay won't do anything about it. Most website owners do not like ad blockers as it hurts their revenue and I doubt ebay is any different.
Good thing to know about though as I use Chrome with an ad blocker.

This is a major issue, if it's occurring. Thanks for the heads up.

There's already a thread about this:

@samaritanseller
Thanks for your post. It might be quite interesting to do a little looking (research) to determine what is different about the listings that DO show with the adblocker in place as opposed to the others.
As a buyer using a computer there is one ad section that shows on listings that prevents me from using the "hover or click to enlarge" on the images feature until the entire ad loads with all its jump and jive video. I blocked it, but I still had to wait the usual time (for it to load in the background I presume) before I could proceed.

So, turning off Promoting Listings will fix the issue temporarily? I’ve always promoted all my listings. But with my sales continuing to drop, I’m considering turning it off completely.
Why would I pay extra to have my listings hidden?

No I don’t think so. It seems to block promoted and non-promoted listings from showing. I don’t think it has anything to do with promoted listings.

So EBay doesn’t want it’s revenue hurt yet won’t try to solve Ad block from hurting its revenue? Not following the logic here.
