I have seen this with multiple accounts (clients account at their homes). Today it happened to me AGAIN for the second time on my personal account (on my computer). I live in the same state, nothing has changed.
Accounts with 2FA get disabled a few minutes after a successful login. It truly makes no sense. If you login, and the login is successful, why is eBay notifying users via email that "We reset your eBay password for your security".
As someone who has taken the time to secure my account against hackers, eBay then treats me like the hacker and locked me out of my own account.
I'm lost for words. The stupidity. It makes no sense. Even the eBay customer care lady was baffled at how many eBay accounts his happens to.
