Try another browser to rule out a specific browser issue.
"Access Denied" errors when trying to check out or pay usually indicate some sort of network error.
If you are using a VPN, try disabling it.
If you are using a custom firewall, that may be causing problems.
Try paying using your phone or laptop when not connected to your usual network wifi.

I have randomly been receiving the same error and it is honestly so frustrating, especially when trying to list items and then lose everything...
I've tried multiple browsers and get the same 'Access Denied' message at random times, and then if I wait 20 or so minutes I am allowed back in.
I'm also not using a VPN.

I've been having the same issue for a week or so now. No VPN, Akamai doesn't have my IP flagged, lasts consistently for a few minutes even with a cookie and cache clearing, and it occurs with and without adblockers enabled. I've tried everything I can think of and I'm stumped. Be sure to share if you figure anything out.

I've noticed a common theme with running into this 'Access Denied' issue.
It seems when I'm working quickly and have multiple tabs open it triggers this issue which is extremely annoying and prevents me from continuing any kind of activity on the website for several minutes.
Please eBay, you've got to do something with this annoying problem, I understand there's some kind of bot protection in place but this is severely affecting real users.

This has been happening on and off for several months now, we have all tried the solutions listed on several posts suggested by eburtonlab, none of which have worked. This is an internal ebay "protection" issue that needs to be resolved. Kindly use part of the billions of dollars you make from us and fix it.

I've been having the same issue for months. I can only view 3 or 4 pages an hour basically. It's super annoying, and honestly has prevented me from using ebay as much and so I'm just buying things elsewhere. I don't browse on a VPN, I've tried Chrome and Firefox, I've tried disabling adblocker, I tried clearing cache, etc. Nothing works!!!

What happens when you use a different network, such as when you use the eBay app when not connected to your usual WiFi connection?
