Paypal is NOT coming back for sellers. You will need to learn how to adapt to MP if you want to continue to sell on Ebay.
The following links are very informative and easy to read. Lots of great information in these articles that contain information you should be aware of. After you read them you will likely have questions. Come on back and ask whatever you need to.

So sorry...Like others above me said, PayPal is not coming back. Many wish they would but it is not going to happen.
We all had to adapt to the new changes and some have decided not to. There are other reasons for other sellers leaving here as well.
One day, eBay might do/require something from me that will simply be a deal breaker and if that day ever happens, I will simply stop selling here.
What you need to decide is if MP is a deal breaker for you.
Good luck on your decisions and endeavors.

Currently Ayden has contracted with eBay. Until the time comes for renewal or a breach in that contract, PayPal is not available to sellers. No one can predict the future about a eBay-PayPal relationship, but you might be waiting a very long time for that to happen, if it ever does.

Yes we can. Paypal is going in an entirely different direction and does not want the business. Pretty simple.

MP was the last straw for me. I cancelled my store in January and let my other items time out here (had already listed them on Bonanza, where sales have been better than here--and it's PayPal-friendly). 🙂

Surprising for Bonanza.

This is inaccurate information. PayPal has NEVER said they don't want Ebay's business. What some are referring to was when the CEO of PP stated they did not want to renew a contract with Ebay, but he was SPECIFICALLY talking about the contract for the split up of the two companies.
At the time he made that statement, PP had ALREADY signed a contract with Ebay for a 5 year period of time to ensure that PP will service all sellers not in MP and all buyers. This contract runs until 2023. It is unknown and too early to tell if they will enter another contract. If they were going to do that it would be later next year.
Ebay WAS one of PP's largest customers. PP can go these other directions you are talking about because the contract for the split has ended. There were restrictions on PP in that contract as well as restrictions on Ebay. NEITHER side wanted that contract to get renewed.

That is a surprise. I've tested that site several times over the past few years and could not even justify my time to manage the site as sales were horrible.

totally agree...That site has become one of the worst selling venues ever with seller support equally terrible.
Was a seller there for several years back in the day when the site was actually worth listing on and had great potential but certain persons totally destroyed the site and it has continued to run itself into the ground. Only a few sellers actually make money there, mostly the long time favorite "pets" of the site that have always been given preferential treatment.

I think ebay would be sinking to hell with all these bad decisions. But it seems that they are working all right. It is really odd.
