They still accept PP as a method of payment from the buyer. They do not use PP as THEIR payment processor anymore because if you have a business you are not going to give those fees to someone else ANYMORE.

That makes it sound like Adyen is not getting paid for processing payments just like PayPal did. Do you really think Adyen is working for free? LOL

As one that “quit” eBay, but is back with a lot of listings, can you tell folks why you are back, what things have improved, what is better than you expected with MP?

Someone figured out that if Ebay "holds" the money for a few days before transferring the money into one's bank account they have cash on hand to use (invest, pay bills, etc).  It is garbage that they are doing this.  I don't want to join Facecrap marketplace but i guess I am heading down that path.  It is taking almost a week for money to deposit into my bank account after the buyer has paid.

Im taking all of my listings off eBay this morning. One should not have to wait for days to see their money. Shipping has to come out of our pockets and it takes 3 days to be paid? eBay continues to bankroll off of us and that’s fine, but now we’re totally getting screwed and they’re holding OUR money. Bye bye eBay.

 I agree with just about everything I've read in this thread about the new payout system. I'd also like to add that I think the seller fees-  12.35% (actually higher than that when you toss in all the ups and extras they tack on) have gotten completely nuts and out of line. 

  I've just had my first entree of Ebay's new payout system. Sold an item 3 days ago- STILL WAITING for funds, it says Processing- PROCESSING???? How **bleep** much time does it take to verify instantaneous electronic funds transfers? What is going on here is the same thing the lousy fractional reserve bankers do when they tell you it takes 3-5 days for your instantaneous electronic funds to post to your account. What they are doing is "kiting" your funds. They are holding them in a big pot for several days and collecting interest on it. Yea, right you say? The item I sold went for $3.21 how much can they make off of that? The answer is, In a pot of a few  million dollars at any one give time- onehellofalottacash!

 Granted, Ebay is the top dog- and they know it. If you are selling online NO other platform has the exposure your items will get from Ebay.  However,  I too am tired of being pushed around by Ebay and am seriously looking at some other platforms.

Still waiting on my first payout from 1/25. Called after about 5 days and got told it got sent back, so went through some steps with agent and it is supposedly fixed. Got a second payout coming and still have not received first. Might have to start mailing items after payout is in my bank account. This is a Cluster____.

Yep, my business relies on instant payments to be able to process a customer's order(s). This will just add serious delays which brings the turnaround time for printing Business cards from 2-3 days to 7-10 days PLUS shipping time.

eBay will never hear the end of this. this is awful and holding funds is wrong no matter how you dice it.

I created a checking account just for ebay so that when they get hacked they will have access only to that account in which I will keep minimum funds.

Two days until you receive money, Paypal was instant.  No more selling on ebay here.

eBay has not been hacked for any member's financial information since they started 25 years ago.

After 10 years I am looking to EXIST eBay. It is no longer feasible and the current trend are unsustainable for many small sellers like me.
