In order to list and sell on eBay, you need a checking account. There is absolutely no way to get around that rule.

Sorry, if you want to sell on Ebay, you have to provide a checking account and your SSN.

eBay sellers receive their payouts in their linked checking account.

You are required by law in the United States to be subject to realized income laws & buyer refunds. The only way ebay provides for that is a registered checking account tied directly to your tax payer ID number. It's a reporting requirement you can not work around. ebay will eventually abandon the funds to the state on file for your registration. Even to claim them from the state - your tax payer information will be required.

Hi @selte_560
Whether you have no bank account or debit card or simply don't want to use one it makes no difference to eBay, they require that as part of selling on their venue. You have the choice to sell or not to sell on ANY internet sales venue but have to comply with each site's User Agreement and their rules and regulations.
Now, I am just curious and you don't have to answer this but why don't you have a bank account? Do you still live at home with your parents and have a job that pays cash or issues a paper check instead of direct deposit to a bank account? If you save your money, where do you put it?

Please review the below link carefully. It contains very important information as to how Ebay needs to see the information you provide them on your account if you want to Sell on Ebay. It is likely easier to change your Ebay account to match your bank account if you find there to be a difference.

How do you pay for anything?
How does an employee pay for you?
Does anyone pay you?

That is a bit unfair. The OP is a new member.

Hmmm, wondering about the validity of the OP's situation. Might just be a young person messing with us.

5% of the US population is unbanked, for various reasons, almost half of them because they don’t have enough money to cover the minimum required balanced.
It’s rare but it happens.

You are certainly correct. There are some that can't get a checking account due to prior abuse of one.
Or they may have a checking account but because they don't want their income showing up where a state or federal agency that they are receiving benefits from can see the deposits and possibly affect their benefits.
Then there are others that simply do not want a bank account.
I'm sure there are many other reasons too, but they will learn, without one they are not going to be able to sell on a marketplace like Ebay.
