Since we moved over to managed payments, we haven't had any problems getting the money paid to the checking account. Yes, it takes too long, but the money has arrived. Until today.
Today, it declined a payout. There is nothing on the Payments pages explaining WHY the payout was declined. Since all the other payouts have gone through, what's different about this one? There's been no e-mail explaining what's going on, no note on the ebay page of an issue with any of the payments, nothing. I've scoured the Community Board, but I'm not finding any answers as to why payouts are declined.
Does anyone have the answer or know where I can find the information?

Oh, Thank you for clearing that up! I have some friends who also sell on ebay and they are fortunate enough to have not yet been forced to join MP.

Just received the “we sent your payout” email (for the second time).
Would’ve been nice to get another email explaining the situation instead of having to google “ebay payout declined”... find this thread and then subsequently read every message... but as long as I get my money......

I am so relieved it wasn’t just me! I had tons of successful payouts and then today, 12/02 I get two emails spaced out by several hours saying my payout was declined. Ugh. I wish they would never have done this managed payments thing. I miss PayPal. But when I heard we would all be forced into managed payments At some point, I just went ahead and switched over finally, after months of avoiding it. I hope this gets resolved ASAP. Like the rest of you, I need those funds.

Interesting ebay likes to blame the bank...Only because they want to cover up their mess and think people will sooner get mad at their bank then the real culprit...wake up ebay we are on to you!!

My payout from yesterday cleared this morning, but now no payout was sent today... Did this happen to anyone else?

Mine has been doing this since December 15th. Just tells me there was an issue but not what the issue is or whose end it is on.
It keeps bouncing back and I would like my money.
I called an attendant today who tried to help and then said he'd have another office call me back but never received the call. What can we do on our end to fix this issue? Or can we just go back to Paypal since that worked without issue?

Resolution: For some reason, eBay had a bank account number that was one digit off. It turns out, my bank *hand coded* the first payout from eBay and after that they started rejecting them.
I haven't changed my bank account that was registered with them for the past 6 years but I don't recall if I had to re-enter my bank account number when I signed up for MP, so this could have been my fault entirely.
Everything is resolved for me, happily.

This is HAPPENING to me for the first time this morning, & it is a BIGGER payment than I have received in a long time. I have been with MP since JULY of 2020.

Jumping on the wagon here to say I'm experiencing this, too. This will be my first payout since my account was converted to MP. This has been an extremely frustrating experience so far. Anyway, I won't beat a dead horse with complaining about MP.

Same here first time has been declined since nov 2020 seems to be glitch not sure if need to call or will be fixed by itself big payout.

The fact that eBay doesn't give sellers an option for Instant Transfer is ridiculous -- even from their perspective as it seems to reason that they stand to make money on it based on the fee they would charge. After selling on eBay for over a decade, MP has now made me have to completely change my selling behavior and management of finances -- not only from the lack of options to receive money the moment I'm paid, but also having to now factor in the possibility that payouts are NOT dependable.
I totally understand eBay cutting out PayPal so as to roll that fee into their own, thus making them a lot more money, but as it stands, MP seriously penalizes a vast demographic of sellers -- especially those who had come to rely on specific cash flow scenarios.
Just give us Instant Transfer, eBay. Please.
