The Resolution Center used to send a Non-Paying-Bidder a notification and they were given 7 days to pay. 99% of the time my delinquent bidders would pay right after they received the notice. eBay has removed that, and now my only option is to cancel the order. I understand that for some people that is what works best for them, the old system worked great for me. I hate it when they fix stuff that is still working.
Just had to vent!

You can now close out an Unpaid Item case in five days instead of 6.

I agree....no recourse for the seller anymore. Canceling and relisting has no teeth and is not very satisfactory. I hate the new policy.

The buyer still gets an unpaid item mark on their account.
When a seller cancels an order because the buyer hasn't paid, the unpaid cancellation is recorded on the buyer's account. Buyers who have excessive unpaid cancellations may have limits imposed by a seller or by eBay, or lose their buying privileges.
