Check out the first image, it shows, "Additional Description" as an
option that is not locked. That has always been an option, try it on one
of your listings.
When I have a large collection to list, I use a DSLR and post process
with Photoshop. The Macros/actions make it really quick. When I have a
few photos, I use my Galaxy S24 and get good results too. For postcards
I use the an Epson Duplex scanner.
I have seen that mark on Military issued dinnerware. My guess would be
that the handle was made by a bored soldier or sailor with a blade
borrowed from the mess hall. Maybe a Machinist Mate on a shop. The
handle looks machined.
