Sellers Periodic Performance Review causing problems

I am on my 10th day of this performance review and a buyer is waiting for their item which I cannot ship before I get paid and doesn’t seem that ebay cares. How long does this last? It’s costing me money and time while ebay is holding $2800! It was the sale of a large item that triggered it. But taking down more than 100 listings seems extreme! Why leave a buyer wait 10 days for item to be shipped! The buyer can even open a case of not delivered item! They contact ebay who tells them ebay will ask me to ship and when they get the item I get paid! I have contacted ebay by phone and chat without result. All they wanted from me was proof that my sold items were delivered. This information is easily verifiable in the sold items. I have sent it and haven’t heard anything. It seems more of a lame excuse to me to keep my account suspended when they keep my payout! 
How long did this absurd process last for people? Ebay spokespeople pretending to be ebayers like @mam98031 need NOT reply. Genuine sellers that went through this only! Thanks.

That may set off a Transaction review but NOT an account review.  Completely different things.  This seller did not ship the item because Ebay was holding the payment due to the policy on larger payments on seller accounts that normally don't sell something that expensive.  The seller's reaction to that was not to ship.  That reaction is what caused the buyer to file the INR and for Ebay to rule in the buyer's favor.  Which is what Ebay should have done.

The seller should have been contacting Ebay, daily if necessary to see how long they intended on holding funds.  

The seller asked Ebay to step in on the INR, I'm not sure what outcome they expected other than the one they got.  Even though we may have funds held, we are expected to ship on time.

@momom  didn’t you read my saying that you need not reply? You are so obviously being paid to tow ebay line. So would you have shipped a $2800 item without first being paid? I have seen a lot of your “pointers” in many replies. You are NOT a genuine ebayer but an ebay snitch and no one needs your advise. Ebay has corrupted! selling my personal stuff from years back and they ask me for receipts? I am not a store seller just selling personal stuff and mostly am a buyer. 

Time to search the name of that firm that won the class action of ebay ripping sellers off with unfair fees!

You don't understand how ebay works. 

You WERE paid. The funds weren't being released but they were there in YOUR account. 

You could have used part of the money received to pay for the shipping label and the rest of the payment would have sat in the account until tracking showed that it was sent and delivered to the buyer. 

Just because you don't have access to the money doesn't mean you weren't paid.

Call me confused, but why are you registered in the US but all your item are shipping from Albania?

Nothing will get resolved until you ship.

Wow! How rude and entitled you are to attack someone who owes you nothing yet takes time out of their own day to offer advice and expertise to you! 

Everyone who posts to the boards are members (both buyers and sellers) just like you. On occasion when employees post, they are clearly identified as ebay employees.

That’s crazy, how can these be truly just “periodic” when someone gets 2 in 2 weeks? It seems like they are targeting people but I don’t get it. My account status says above standard in fact it says I will be evaluated as a top rated seller on March 20th and yet they are reviewing my account

Well the ebay rep didn’t explain it this way when I contacted them and obviously they know more than you how ebay works. I have been with ebay since 2004 and yeah I do know how it works. If I didn’t have access to the money how was I to use part of it for purchasing shipping. You are contradicting yourself.

I am a US account and am in Albania to take care of a sick parent. And have been for some time. Covid just prolonged the stay. It didn’t bother ebay till now and my shipping from albania has worked fine and items been delivered and my feedback shows happy buyers.

From my experience, most of the regular posters to these boards know much more than the Ebay CS reps.

What you're not getting is this: The money is there...it is just on hold but you can access it to pay your shipping fees. Once the item is shipped and you can show proof of delivery, they will release the money.

And yes, I've trusted Ebay with my  money for 21 years.
