Sellers Periodic Performance Review causing problems

I am on my 10th day of this performance review and a buyer is waiting for their item which I cannot ship before I get paid and doesn’t seem that ebay cares. How long does this last? It’s costing me money and time while ebay is holding $2800! It was the sale of a large item that triggered it. But taking down more than 100 listings seems extreme! Why leave a buyer wait 10 days for item to be shipped! The buyer can even open a case of not delivered item! They contact ebay who tells them ebay will ask me to ship and when they get the item I get paid! I have contacted ebay by phone and chat without result. All they wanted from me was proof that my sold items were delivered. This information is easily verifiable in the sold items. I have sent it and haven’t heard anything. It seems more of a lame excuse to me to keep my account suspended when they keep my payout!
How long did this absurd process last for people? Ebay spokespeople pretending to be ebayers like @mam98031 need NOT reply. Genuine sellers that went through this only! Thanks.

Re: Sellers Periodic Performance Review - P'd Off !!

"And another very important piece to this is that they said I can spend my fund (700$) on the site!"  That is an enhancement coming to MP in the future, but as far as I know, and it hasn't been announced yet, this perk of MP is not yet available.

Re: Sellers Periodic Performance Review - P'd Off !!

eBay doesn't care about your purchase history while selling. You may have purchased all those items but that doesn't give you any perks when it comes to selling. eBay does say that for new sellers they can hold funds up to 30 days. No way around it.

You triggered the periodic performance review from the high dollar amount sale and you said that thats your first sale. And you also could have triggered it from shipping very fast. eBay hates when transactions are completed very fast for new sellers. If eBay would have paid you that day and then buyer came with a return request the very next day they know for sure they can refund the buyer without it coming from eBay pocket.

My only advice is to build your selling transactions and prove to eBay that you can be trusted to sell expensive items without going through those annoying payment holds after the trasnaction is completed.
