Re: Scammers

eBay Motors Security Center

eBay has nothing to do with sales on Marketplace.  Please click on and read the link so you don't get taken.

Re: Scammers

Please stop all dealings with this person - this is a FRAUD. You will lose your money. This is NOT how eBay does business - the link posted by krazzykats will be very helpful for you to read. You were very smart to come here and check out what you suspected was questionable. You might want to consider blocking their calls on your cell #.  Wishing you the best of luck in getting your new car from a legit seller!

Re: Scammers

The url safety-transaction-payment-program.net is not eBay. Something from  @ebay.com is eBay.

So how much is the scammer wanting for that 2012 Toyota Corolla that sells in my neck of the woods for 10-12K?

The first sign it's a scam is the price.

If the price is too good to be true it is too good to be true. They want you to think you have to hurry up and buy it before someone else beats you to that good deal.

eBay doesn't  handle transactions found on Facebook.

eBay doesn't  handle payment arrangements for vehicles.

There's no inspection period because vehicles can't be returned.

It's a 100% scam using a fake eBay invoice.

Re: Scammers

Since the title of his post is "Scammers", wouldn't we assume that the OP is aware that this is a scam?

Re: Scammers

OK, now that I've read further, I see that the OP IS unsure about this.
