I sold a chanel bag on eBay on 12/6/22. EBay restricted my account and asked for a copy of an ID. I provided front and back of my DL.
Since that time I have chatted with customer service, contacted BBB, emailed CEO of eBay and contacted eBay for business through Facebook with mixed replies.
I was told there was i issue with my registration and just to wait for them to resolve it. They need nothing from me. Just to wait.
I was told that my account is in legal department without any explanation of what that meant.
I was told that I didn’t do anything wrong but I need to refer to user policies.
I have been selling my stuff in eBay since 2011.
I sold expensive things ie a gold Hublo watch and inexpensive things ie lulu lemon pants.
I am writing this to let the eBay community know of eBay’s underhanded practices.

7 months since I sold my chanel bag and eBay is still holding my money. I he attorney contact them without even a courtesy reply.
they don’t care.
This happened after years of selling on this disposable platform without even one negative review.
this can and will happen to anyone. eBay is having serious issues if they are just holding moneys without ANY explanation.

Still no payout after 7 months? I'd be having dark thoughts by now....
Is it possible the buyer filed a chargeback or a PayPal dispute and you missed it?
Are you positive your bank account is still linked?
If the funds were going to escheatment you would've been notified.
SO HMMMMMMMM I'm thinking maybe a RESERVE came into play.
Just scratching my head.
Have you opted out of Arbitration? If you haven't opted out then you must use eBay Arbitration instead of lawsuit. If you haven't opted out then maybe that's why your lawyer hasn't gotten a response. Or maybe they don't respond until a lawsuit is filed.
