When eBay moved to managed payment processing, the marketing emails sent out promised those who will receive their funds through Payoneer competitive processing fees.
Almost 2 years down the path with this unnecessary middleman, Payoneer decided to extract more from clients (as clearly, they are unable to meet some dump revenue targets due to economic conditions resulting from inflation) by charging US$ 1 for any payment received less than $ 100.
Someone will argue that it is just $ 1 on $ 100. My objection has multiple aspects:
1. Why charge 1% on receiving funds that when transferred to the bank they will collect 2% (minimum charge is $ 10)?
2. What is the additional effort they put into receiving a US$ 100 payment from eBay? Nothing, same process and same number of staff (and there not many because the platform is a full FinTech Technology platform that is automated all the way)
3. Why we sellers who must go through a useless middleman don't have the option to select a suitable provider that give us better rate? Where is the adherence to competition/anti-trust regulations these companies brag about in every SEC filing (quarterly/annual)?
4. The start is US$ 1 for $ 100 or less payments, next only gods knows where the desperate measures forced by stock markets on Payoneer management will take this new Arbitrary "Receiving Charge."
Another cost item to add to our cost of sale on eBay = less profit or higher prices
The ask is to anybody from eBay team reading this thread:
1. Take up this with Payoneer and ask them to exclude Payment from eBay.
2. If they don't agree, negotiate with PayPal (or similar competitors) a deal for eBay sellers and give them the freedom to choose from competing alternatives.
3. Or alternatively, eBay already has exactly the same information and ID validation provided to Payoneer during onboarding: Kick them out and take the 2% from international sellers and transfer money directly from eBay to seller bank account.

eBay doesn’t own or operate Payoneer.
The fees you are charged by Payoneer have nothing to do with eBay.
If you have an issue with Payoneer fee process you’ll need to take it up with them.
I recall PayPal charged a fee for their services as well.
If I’m incorrect someone will be along to chime in.

1. You are stating facts we know
2. You clearly didn't read through my post and hence you missed the key point.
3. Your reply ignores very important fact: We are dealing with Payoneer because that was eBay decision to bring them in as the solo partner for processing sellers' payout. Hence your argument that it is not eBay business is invalid.
So kindly, if you have a business opinion/solution that address the key point, please share it. Otherwise leave it for eBay staff to take note and comment/reply.
Have a good day

This is a public community forum for buyers and sellers.
You’ll be waiting a long time for anyone from eBay to respond as they don’t frequent this forum.
Not only that you are incorrect Payoneer is not the only payment processor for eBay, since I am in the US I don’t use Payoneer I use eBay’s Managed Payments through Adyen.
eBay won’t be negotiating anything with PayPal, since they ended their contract with them several years ago.
If you want to continue to sell on eBay your only option for your payouts is Payoneer.

It's easy to understand.
PayPal CEO Don Schulman chose not to extend the existing Operating Agreement between PayPal and eBay.

This is a lie written by an individual like you, ebay switched to payoneer to be the only payment processor so that my payments would not be processed by paypal, that's what the ebay people told me in the discussion I had
