Why is it that me as a seller sent the item a d buyer received the item and is 100 percent happy with it and gave me a awesome feedback. That ebay is holding my money for 30 days? That's like let me buy this 1200 dollar item so I can use it and don't worry about it

As a newbie seller, with absolutely no selling history, your funds will be held. Ebay prefers that any refunds come out of your pocket, not theirs. And feedback does not release the funds any sooner, you wouldnt be the first seller to have received positive fb, then two or three weeks later, have a not as described case opened against you. Might help you to read up on Ebays thirty day MBG too.

Is it for the item that sold for $1200?
You're a new seller and item sold for more then $1000.
New sellers can have their funds held for 30 days.
For items that sell for more the $1000, they started holding the funds for the full 30 days and they started that a couple years ago.

The hold is not to make the buyer 'happy' about having an item for X amount of days.
In fact, the buyer has NO IDEA that your funds are being held.
That is between you and eBay only.
Funds are being held because ebay has a 30 Day Money Back Guarantee policy which means the buyer can 'return' that item within 30 days of 'delivery' and they don't want to be on the hook should the buyer want to return.
So, they hold the money for that 30 days.

So, when you read the information available to you about selling on eBay, there was no explanation about the 30 day holding of funds for new sellers? That's strange. Did they remove it?

Ebay's holds are a terrible business practice, and are forcing many sellers to leave the platform. I just cancelled my store subscription today and will no longer be selling any pricey items on here. I currently have $12k being held until October 6th, just because Ebay felt like holding my money hostage for 30 days. Despite the fact that i have been selling on here for 24 years and used to be a Power Seller.
Ebay expects me to pay $600 out of my pocket to ship a $12,000 item, that i may or may not get paid for a month from now. It is 100% totally absurd.

Ebay should have thought of that before they decided to jump head first into the payment processing business. At the same time, they aren't willing to take the risk that comes with processing payments, so they pass all the risk on to the seller. Basically, Ebay wants to have their cake and eat it too.
