NO HELP FROM EBAY

I am simply trying to find if my account is functioning properly. Ebay rudely froze me out last week,

I am still receiving orders, sending them out, but I don't seem to be getting PAID.

The software promises Chat help (the 800 number is useless)

but I'm damned if I can find a connection to it.

@amosduncan

Whatever phone numbers you find on the web for eBay are fake numbers.

Click on > https://www.ebay.com/help/contact_us?id=4002&st=10

On chat: type in ’agent’ to get a live person instead of a bot

AND-OR

Click on receive a call back: depending on how busy they are will depend on length of time for your call back

Make sure your phone will not block the call back

If you've given any of your personal information to someone at "the 800 number," change your passwords immediately! You weren't contacting ebay.

Go to Sellers Hub, Payments, Payouts (that will tell what money is coming your way).

NO HELP FROM EBAY

If ebay froze you out, there was a reason.  Go to Ebay and look at your messages. It's possible that ebay emailed you and your spam filter blocked the email.  Ebay emails are never blocked inside the Ebay system.

Now see if you did all of this.

1. Did you sign up for Managed Payments?

2.Did you give ebay an account number?

3.Did ebay verify the account?

4. Did you provide ebay with your social security number.  This is the law now in the USA and all sellers must      in the USA must comply.

5. Did ebay ask you for a valid ID?

All of these steps are required.   Almost all of us here sell successfully and we have all done that.

Please, please, please, no posts about not giving out your social security number. Nobody here wants to hear it.   It doesn't matter how long you have been on ebay and how many feedbacks, you need to give ebay the information that they want.  I have done it for my 2 sellers accounts and I have been here since 1998 with those 2 selling IDs.

Finally, I just remembered that sometimes ebay will hold a payout because they need to see a receipt for an item that sold recently.  Those items are usually expensive electronics , expensive jewelry or designer clothing.  Did you sell anything like that recently?   Again, look at Ebay messages to see the reason why the account was frozen.

Bank account name and the sellers name on the selling ID must also match.  So if that is your problem, you need to change something.   Let us know how this is resolved.   Do NOT call any number found on the internet.

NO HELP FROM EBAY

Go to the ebay for business page in facebook & discuss your payment issue with the CS team over there. They should be able to help you & typically they are agents here in the USA.

Good luck!
