Menage payments switch with different name on account

i read online and here in board that lots of seller have fake name on registrated ebay account , i have few friends who open account like that and for years sell on ebay they are all 100% users and now ebay ask them to change to menage payments , so if they open online bank card like payoneer will they be able to connect that with his ebay accounts , if not what they can do? delite ebay account and start new on his name as i know its almost impossible to change registrated ebay name , so did ebay think how many millions of good seller they will lose as tons of accounts dont have real name ...

for example my friend open account before few years he think its not important as back then he dont wish to sell , and after 2 years he start to sell  on that account and now he have good 100% account and menage payments coming and then what he can do now ? he call now ebay and they told me its possible to solve that

It's a little hard to call them good sellers when they use false information on their accounts.

Are you sure? Have you or your friends tried?

I have not had to change my registered name in my eBay account, but my understanding is that lots of folks get married or change their names for legal reasons and then are able to change the names that those eBay accounts are registered under to match without much difficulty.

he call them yesterday i mean ebay call him and in menage payments department says once he start to use menage payments that is possible to change name and they confirm that to him, he says its impossible, i know that and he know that its impossible and ebay agent told him no its possible 

NOTE THIS: first agent with he speaks told him just go and edit name , my friend says its not possible , agent told him NO ITS EASY JUST EDIT it ahhahahhaha these ebay agents dont know anything... then that agent coonect him to MP depertments and agent there is told him its possible

AT THE END: i dont believe it will be possible but will ask my friend what happend , as now he have stupid situation , also there are millions of users who have same problem if ebay dont allow that once that users lost paypal and start with MP they will lost his ebay accounts because of registrated name and that way ebay will lost millions of users

Once you register with Managed Payments, your eBay registered name has to match the name on your checking account exactly, so it may not be easy to change one without changing the other at that point. No idea what that actually entails in practice, or which needs to be changed first.

Prior to registration with Managed Payments, changing your registered eBay name should be relatively simple.

Make sure your registered name is absolutely correct before you try to sign up for Managed Payments, or you will have all sorts of problems trying to match up your checking account and social security number.

the solution is simple. Your friends just need to open new bank accounts in their fake names. EBay will then be transferring their sales proceeds to these new accounts. It is critically important that the names on ebay and new bank accounts are EXACTLY the same.
