MANAGED PAYMENTS IS AN ABSOLUTE JOKE! WE DON'T NEED PICTURES TO KNOW THAT! FIX IT!

Maybe a different approach might help.  They actually don't need to "fix" that process as it is how it is actually designed it to work.  It is that for some sellers the process just doesn't work well for them and it is extremely problematic for them.  So you need Ebay to enhance the system to be something more suited to your needs and that of some of the other sellers that have issues with the process.

What **bleep**! If you're going to make improvements ebay, actually have them BE IMPROVEMENTS! You force me to use your managed payouts and yet I cant access any funds! A weeks worth of waiting an hour plus for call backs or live chats and being told you're going to fix it...and here we are...still waiting to fix it! At least i'm not alone here. Looks like this **bleep** problem is affecting plenty of others on here. Fix it A-holes!!!!

Sorry vent over.

I feel your pain. I'm in the same boat. Absolutely infuriated right now. Customer service with eBay is non-existent to utter garbage. Sure, they're all SOOOO friendly and pleasant, but who cares if they dont fix the problem!!!!!

Re: Infographic: How payouts work on managed payments

Some of the more common errors:

  1.  The name on your Ebay account set up must perfectly match the name on the bank account you are attaching.  NO differences, not even a middle initial.
  2. Your address must be a physical location.  It can’t be a PO box.
  3. Check your birthday and make sure it is correct in your Ebay set up.
  4. If none of the above, you have to contact MP help via the phone to get assistance.  Go to the link below and then to the bottom of the page for MP help.

I so agree with. It looks like even less than before. I am so glad they are helping me "save" money. What a crock!

This is a true statement. I sell peanuts and get less than before. It is making me considering pulling all of my **bleep** off of here and finding an alternative. It's becoming quite irritating.

I feel you. I am in the same boat. I need it now. It's just 2-3 days. Sure, but I need it right now!

I MP fee structure is different but unless you are or were in PP's micropayment program, the cost is not more.  Not overall.  You can and will see some transactions with a slightly higher fee and others that are less.  In a months time the net result will be pretty close to what you paid before entering MP.  So keep an eye out.  The fees should not be causing you to lose any additional profits.

Now the transfer time on the money is a completely separate issue as you know.  And it is very problematic for many members.  I don't think it is going to change anytime soon.  I hope you can figure out a way to survive in the new program.  And I'm sorry you are having such difficulty with it.  I respect that it can be a hardship for some.

Thanks. I do appreciate the kind words. I imagine it's even worse if you sell more. It just seems like more because of the wait time.

Re: Infographic: How payouts work on managed payments

My current issue is with the bank account.

1.   I don't bank online.  I use debit and credit cards.

2.  Both of my bank accounts are savings accounts.

3.  My MPPs are on hold pending the checking account information.

4.  I have to open a new checking account, which because of prior id leaks, is more difficult then just giving a SSN and account information....

Why can't my "net" MPPayouts just go into my PayPal account like a simple deposit transfer would?

No not really.  Weekly deposits work very well for many sellers.  I'm one of them.  That doesn't mean I don't respect or understand that for others it just doesn't work well.  They happen every Tuesday morning and for me the deposit is at my bank before noon on Wednesday.  I do bank with a major bank so that can sometimes speed up the process.  For smaller more local banks it may take longer.

It also makes accounting easier IMHO.  But you need to do what is best for you and your little business.

Interesting.  I didn't know a Savings account could have a debit card.

Well there is no choice.  It is a requirement to attach a checking account.  So no matter how much it upsets you, if you want to continue on Ebay once you are told it is time to go into MP you will need to get a checking account.  FYI it isn't a requirement that it is an "online" account.

Yes, without the bank info they have no place to send your money, so they can't until you attach a checking account.

I was able to open a new checking account with my bank over the phone.  I did not even have to go to the bank to accomplish this.  It just took a few minutes on the phone and they mailed paperwork to me that needed my signature.  I bank with Bank of America.

PP is NOT a bank.  So MP can't legally allow you to attach that.

Re: Infographic: How payouts work on managed payments

Its actually a Business Savings account from a business I closed, many years ago.

And they only issue debit cards with a savings accounts at my bank...maybe because I had no checking attached to it??

Anyway, trying to open one now...groan...big red message across my eBay screen telling me they have no way to payout.. I did leave my funds in PayPal, so shipments are still on time.😳

I just never heard of it.  I'm confident there are many things that may be new to me that aren't to others.

You will continue to be in this position until you attach a checking account.

You should be able to still ship through MP.  When you create the label, you can choose if you want the cost deducted from your MP account or your PP account.

Re: Infographic: How payouts work on managed payments

Is your eBay account set up as a business or personal? Your checking account will need to match, as in personal or business.
Just FYI.

Everyone has options. Just be sure the best option is right for you.
