I already get a 1099K from PayPal at year-end. If I continue to use PayPal though MP, will eBay issue a 1099K for the same amount that PayPal issues ? If so, how would I reconcile the two ?

Because you going into forums where people aren’t inquiring about managed payments but have already decided. Your trying to make him reconsider. The question you need to ask yourself is why are you here trying to convince us otherwise.
My main gripe is in two areas on is my desire to handle all areas of the transaction within my sales. Item sells I want to be able to use those profits to ship the item I can’t with managed sales. In fact EBay’s payouts are extremely delayed I must wait till Tuesday for all sales from Friday-Sunday. I also have my money tied up by managed sales until any disagreements are settled.
Second is why the old style payment arrangement? Why three days over the weekend? PayPal just made me pay a small fee and 3 seconds later the money was in my account. This leads to trust just where is my money during that time. If PayPal proved money can be sent ASAP then why can’t you send it.
Is it necessary for a person to counter post on a topic forum about how great managed payments aren’t there plenty of positive topic posts on managed payments within the forum already? Sure then why post here. I can see why there are plenty of positive people in regards to managed care. If I were selling millions of all the same product it’s approach is a no brainer very few if any returns. But many are like me were resellers selling maybe 100+ items a year getting hit in twenty directions all on costs trying to figure out if an item after fees and shipping and item costs is it even worth our time. Managed payments has forced us into keeping a mailing fund so items don’t get backed up. Another little gem of managed care timeframes.
Many sellers are like me items we would consider on eBay 10 years ago we don’t consider anymore. The smaller, the least expensive and the best profit ratios make it to eBay others go to various other sites or the item is left at the garage sale or thrift store.

Welcome to the new world of web sites calling shots. The only way to bring it down is stop selling there kind of like YouTube becoming the sites of cooking and animal tricks.

Yep that’s it the MOB of online sales sites Managed Payments is EBay’s Vito and Rocko coming to visit. They send them for every transaction, first they take it all then they give you just enough to continue to operate. Till the next visit. Ebtyes did a story on MP and said EBays selling point was it would reduce costs needless to say it’s risen costs for most. Ebay isn’t our friend I’m sure many of you have actually reduced sales on eBay. Not increased them. This creates an endless cycle for them trying to make up losses with endless new schemes like how you can sell, MP and alike.

If ebay deposited your funds into your Paypal account instead of requiring a separate bank account I bet the managed payments program would have been better received.

Nope Their 5 year non Compete Clause was up, and they can't stand to lose that 3% and now can sit on Billions of dollars for a few days.

Yep, Me Too!

You will sure have to give it to them for managed payments as well as your banking information.
03-18-2021 01:31 AM
No they don't, at least not to you get to $20,000 per year.
03-18-2021 01:34 AM
Nope, and there never will be because in the "terms of operation" or whatever it is called you say that you will not ever be a party to a Class-Action suit against. Don't worry, these Crooks have all the bases covered.

NO, not hardly! Billions of dollars held for a few days by millions of sellers will translate to interest on billions of dollars interest for them everyday.

Yep, I used to sell electronics equipment for thousands of dollars back when the maximum FVF was $25. Then it was raised to $50, and then, $100 and now there is no limit, I don't think. It just isn't worth it any more so i went to selling cheap items and now I don't sell anything because of Managed Payments.
