Excessive Processing Times

I have been gone a while from here and came back.  What alternatives to Ebay or there today?   I don’t have days to wait for them to “process” and cannot even **bleep** for days waiting for the payment.  This used to be automatic.  Who is automatic now. Ebay seems like total trash now.

Re: Excessive Processing Times

There is no 'processing' time, as you havent sold anything for quite awhile, Ebay will hold your funds for up to thirty days. With no recent selling history, they prefer that any refunds come out of your pocket, not theirs.Paypal used to front the funds for sellers, Adyen doesnt do that.

Re: Excessive Processing Times

Oh yes, things have changed....

None that I am aware is "automatic" (whatever that means) that have any traffic......

Regulations and Identity issues have created a vetting process as well as the INFORM act requiring online marketplaces to have extensive info on sellers.....

Once you are re-established as a credible seller, your payments are as little as 30 minutes for a small fee or daily (1-2 days from the sale)......

also, you jumped back in with one the highest scam items available on any venue. You will certainly have a 30-day hold on your funds to make sure the buyer does not want a return

Re: Excessive Processing Times

If you are a new seller  or haven't sold in awhile or you're selling a very expensive item then your funds will be held up to 30 days.

Good luck finding a better venue.

As a new/infrequent seller with a high fraud expensive iPhone, you are going to be scrutinized even more closely than if you'd listed small inexpensive widgets.

If your buyer paid for the item, you need to ship it "within 1 business day of receiving cleared payment" as per your terms or you will find your account at risk of further restrictions or suspension.

Re: Excessive Processing Times

Not true.   I am reputable seller since 2002 .  I have to wait at least 4 days since sale to even show up in available funds.    5 days now.    This is a huge problem and illegal.   I have already switched mostly to ETSY and doing well.

Amazing- it does NOT take 4 days or 5 days.

It takes 1 minute to 'show' as 'pending' and 1 day to 'send' the money and 1 day to 'get' the money.

I sell on Sunday, see it in 'pending' on Sunday, get message that $$XX is being deposited on Monday, it's in my bank on Tuesday.

Also- if you have NOT sold the past 90 days- you are a NEW Seller in the eyes of this site.

Etsy uses the same payment system and has been way before Ebay.

Nothing illegal about it.

Re: Excessive Processing Times

Express Payouts on eBay...I can get my money the next evening if I get paid the day before...for 2 bucks.

Collecting $400. and get charged 2 bucks is not bad.
