Ebay fees!!!

I haven't use Ebay for selling in a long time and the 13% selling fee is extremely ridiculous!!!! ap part of Ebay asking to ship the item right away when I don't even have the money in my Bank account YET! It will take 3 days so how am I going to use my money AGAIN for shipping when I supposed to used it from the sell ???? Obviously that is why I see thousands of seller getting out of Ebay plus OVERPRICED items to covers the inflated amounts of Ebay fees!!!!!!! This will be the last time using ebay as a seller and as a Buyer. Not wondering AMAZONE is killing everyone including Ebay

Sellers are not leaving Ebay.

Ebay's fees are no higher than any other site.       Etsy charges me more for selling than Ebay does.

You can use your "processing funds" to pay for your shipping labels

(in this sample PayPal is the default payment method with that checkbox highlighted)

...as a side note....Amazon selling fees are higher than ebay for the small seller....

and it takes forever to get your funds......

a Saturday sale here has already has the payout initiated....

and, just a quick refresher....5 years ago you probably paid 12.9 % (10% ebay 2.9% paypal)

Are you setup for Managed Pay? Pay-Pal for payouts has been gone for a couple of years. 

You can use pending funds to pay for shipping.

New or returning sellers who have not sold in the past 90 days may be subject of up to 30 day holds on pay out to checking account.

Well  have never used Itsey and I never will I have been using Ebay since 2003 also big mistake getting apart from oaypal, I love paypal NEVER had any issues with them. SO BYE Ebay

And the fact that you did not know you could pay for shipping from your pending funds?

Pending money does not means I have the money sorry i don't use Shipping labels from Ebay i use my own label and yes you can have it all Ebay by yourself.....  We will see the status of Ebay next year. Have agreat day

It's too late to worry about the fees, but you can ship those seats using 'Your funds'. (Those are the ones on hold.) If you close the sale, you'll eventually get the balance. Good luck.

Why would you use your own label when Ebay labels are discounted?

13% is the base, if you want your item to sell you had better promote it for an additional 2-15%

The ebay fees for managed payment and the paypal fees + ebay fees are practically identical.  As others have told you , if you print through ebay shipping, the frozen funds are use to pay for the exact cost of the shipping label.  You can also add a credit card to paypal and use paypal to pay for the Ebay shipping.  You can also link a credit card directly to pay Ebay shipping. You have some options.  You can borrow the money from someone too if you don't want to use Ebay shipping.   The one thing that you do NOT do is keep the buyer waiting.    You must ship within the time that you stated when you wrote the ad.

That's the part that my buyers pay.  When you sell on eBay -- or Amazon or any online platform -- you need to choose your buyer demographic carefully.
