I purchased 4 item the other day and charged the< I thought to my Paypal Credit account. Today I got online and went to my personal banking account to find that 3 of the items were charged to this account.
Upon calling Ebay, and having to wait for a return call to speak with a agent, I was informed that because my bank account is tied with my Ebay account, they charged the payment to it without my authority and I had no recourse.
In these trying times, money is tight and I have been sticking every dime back to pay my monthly bills. Ebay taking this money, which was for the purchase of Christmas present and I had budgeted it to pay off on my Paypal credit in 6 months which would have be interest free, now has put me in a tight spot.
If there has been any other people who have had this experience, my prayers go out to you. I don't know how Ebay can just charge payments how ever they see fit.

If one of them did go to the paypal account, it was selected. Did you reach the credit limit for paypal? You used to have to sign up for that program. And watch out, the APR is high.

For the past month and a half, EBAY has been charging an undesignated account for SELLING FEES and has cost me $232.00 in overdraft fees, causing my Debit Account to be overdrawn with fees. In the process, I have been unable to keep food in the fridge, my stress level has affected my health. When I assign a specific account to use for SELLING FEES, and there is PLENTY OF AVAILABLE FUNDS ON THAT ACCOUNT to pay SELLING FEES, EBAY HAS charged a SECONDARY ACCOUNT WHICH IS CHARGED ONLY IF THE PRIMARY ACCOUNT HAS NO FUNDS. I have repeatedly complained about this and there is NO VALID WAY to actually CONTACT THE POWERS THAT BE, that there is a problem and be able to get it resolved. EBAY along with PayPal needs to get together and refund the $232.00 that they caused me to incur in insufficient charges. THEY CHARGED THE WRONG ACCOUNT THEY ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR THEIR ERROR. Time to hold Ebay and PayPal accountable for their NEGLEGENT management of Seller' fees. I don't do business that way, and I have repeatedly requested the account be closed, to no avail. I have no payments receivable, and have transferred my PPal Balance into my Bank Account. WHY WILL THEY NOT CLOSE THE ACCOUNT AS REQUESTED. No wonder they have so many lawsuits and complaints. Negligent Management Tactics! I will be glad when I am free of them!
