In terms of fees, very little.
Your FVF will be charged at the time of sale by MP, with PP it was at the end of your monthly cycle.
Those fees will now include what were the PP fees - 30c+ a percentage (2.9% domestically).
Your buyers will still pay with PP or a credit card, plus ApplePay and GooglePay.
In terms of balances, huge.
Your payment balance will be transferred to your bank account daily or weekly (your choice).
With PP you could build up a balance, and you had too because your other fees (subscriptions and Promoted Listings for example) were collected monthly.
You will not be able to buy on eBay using your MP balance.
You will need a checking account to accept your MP transfers. Many sellers are using a dedicated online checking account for this.
I am not yet in MP, and am holding out because I sell in both American and Canadian dollars and can only have one attached bank account, and that in Canadian dollars. Promises have been made, but not yet fulfilled.
