Yes, I got a message from him today saying he read all the replies here and got scared so he ended the listing.

Probably. Had them on my previous Maxima, and they were great. And still have them on my Vette and they are good tires.

lol I shipped used tires to a recapper, if you had cores you got a discount on recapping.
Strapped them up just like yours, and slap a UPS tag on it.

Never cared for the Hankook tires, they put them on one of my new cars, then replacements for another vehicle, never got more than 22K miles out of them. I'm thinking they were a 40K tire and would get a prorated refund towards new tires.
When I buy new tires, I look at the reviews on Discount Tire's website, of other people that have the same make and year model car or truck I am buying for. It's worked out really well.
If a manufacturer says 50K tread life for a tire, I expect it to get 50K out of it.

I do the same, JR- always read reviews for any tire I'm considering purchasing- 'specially if I haven't seen it in person (I've gotten pretty good at being able to figure out a tires handling and wear characterisitics by look and feel, if I'm standing there in front of it...but still, reviews are invaluable).
Could be that the Hancooks are better for trucks. I've never had 'em on a car (I don't have any cars...). For trucks, I've found the Hancooks to be every bit as good, maybe better than BFG All-Terrains.
22K miles is ridiculous though! Sounds more like what ya'd expect from a Mickey Thompson or something. On the other extreme, my Excursion came with Michelin highway tires on it from the previous owner. I freaking HATE those things! I wouldn't doubt if they have 100K miles on 'em, and'll probably go another 100K, 'cause they're hard as diamonds. But somewhere between those two extremes there's a happy medium....soft enough to give good traction, but hard enough to last more than 22K miles.

I like the Michelin tires, my 2012 Chevy 3500 had them, went 99K with the original set, replaced them with the same. My 2017 Chevy 2500 has Goodyear, only have 11K miles on it, so will have to wait and see how they do.
My 35 Ford has Federals on it, never heard of them before. The tread is of a performance design, terrible in the rain. The front are 205/55/16, rear are 255/50/17, which I am going to replace next month with taller tires. I'd like to get a little better ride out of it. Not sure what brand.
The side walls are too small, no give. I may soften the front suspension a little after I get the new tires. But before I do, I will need to make sure the new tires will fit under the car with no issues. I really dislike low profile tires.

UHhhgg! Yeah, low-profile tires....what a ridiculous fad that is, unless ya drive a Lambo or some such that rides like **bleep** anyway. Now ya even see 'em on pick-ups. Ridiculous!
Federals? Darn, I've never heard of 'em either.
Those Frog tires sure will last...but don't ya find that traction and handling suffers with 'em, 'cause they're made of such a hard compound? (I guess for highway tires, if it doesn't rain or snow much where you are... I forgot which side of the mountains ya live on...)

I was on the Discount Tire website, looking for matched set of tires for the 35 Ford. I ran across Ohtsu tires. They had 11 customer feedback reviews, all 5 stars. Never heard of them before.
I also looked at Pirelli's, Falken, Bridgestone, Hankook, Michelin, and a few others. Only the Ohtsu had a 5 star rating, anyone ever heard of them? They are also much cheaper than the others, thinking they were 40K tires and that part doesn't bother me. Will age out before they wear out.
I'd like a soft tire with no less than a 65 size sidewall and a diameter of no more than 25 for the front tires. The rear tires can be a little larger, but I want all four tires the same brand and tread design to match.
My front tires are 205/55/16, rear are 255/50/17. The ride is not too bad, but could be much better. Thought about air ride suspension, maybe in the fall because the car show season starts tomorrow for me. I still need to take it in and have the A/C compressor and drier replaced, then the system recharged. This car is a lot of fun.

JR, those wheels look awesome on that car! Perfect!

Thanks... going to do a car show today. This is for one of the high schools, it's a fund raiser for the automotive students to do projects, trips and other things. Very nice car show, over 300 cars last two year, they had to move it to another school for the space. A lot of fun.
They make their own trophies from car parts. If you are lucky to get a trophy, always check the silver paint to see if it is dry. Sometimes they miss cleaning all the grease off and spray over it. Grab that spot and get silver paint on yer hands. I've gotten several trophies there, we'll have no fewer than 12 club members attending today.
My grand-nephews will also be entering the show, they were parked in front of me last year. One has a hot Subaru WRX, the other has a Fairlady he just got earlier this month.
