I’m sure I echo the sentiments of many other users, I detest the removal of the 30 day BIN listing option on the app! It removes control from the sellers and craftily forces them to pay fees if they are not careful, due to mobile listings having to be listed as good til cancelled. This is really rather inconsiderate as many sellers may not have access to a computer to list from and are therefore unable to have 30 day BIN listings, as when you try to list via the safari browser on mobile you cannot change the listing to a 30 day one, even when you use the ‘request desktop site’ option. Furthermore, even if sellers do have access to a computer to list from, you are creating double the work for them as it is likely that they will have to take and upload their photos from a mobile device and then log in via a computer just to make their listings 30 days long. Please change this back ASAP and give sellers back the control of their listings!

Also, I’ve been having issues with the app telling me that there is no internet connection when there is definitely one, and it has not been saving my edits to drafts or my photo uploads! I have had to edit and upload photos at least three times on some listings! Not a fan of the fact that when I typed in my title to start a listing, the app incorrectly assumed the item I was selling and then would not allow me to start my own unique listing and in fact locked me out of changing some details.

GTC only is a deal breaker for me and will keep me from using the app very much. But there is a workaround but not sure if it saves you time from just listing it online.

This is a complete and utter mess. Why change something when it is not broke. Just allows two postage options, if this doesn’t change quickly it will be the end of the day for me.

I spoke to somebody from the eBay team today about this after I tried to list something. They tried to make out that it was probably a technical problem my side, what a load of rubbish. Like I said in a previous message, why change something when it is not broken. Ebay must remember we are customers and paying to use their platform, which now is impossible to use from any mobile device. It is a load of rubbish. Like I have already said, if it is not sorted I am going to take my business somewhere else where it is appreciated. The system fails in more ways than one. What a mess for everybody. I have just bought a lot of stock and can not list it now.

I have read your comment and totally agree with you. I spoke with them this morning on the phone and said exactly the same, whoever is responsible for these changes and if they were working for me they would be fired. What are they trying to do, put themselves out of business and us at the same time. My thoughts are; why change something if it is not broken. This is a disaster.

This new app is especially bad. It resets shipping methods after every change to the item. Photos can’t be cropped. Suggestions for price and shipping are defaults. Those suggestions can be horribly incorrect.

Unreal how slow and clunky this new app is. No listing length anymore?! Pictures take forever to load. It’s like this is a simplified version for newbies. Keeps giving hints, asking for easy pricing listings.. etc. The shipping defaults to silly options and you have to undue EVERYTIME. Does anyone think this app is better?! Like anyone??
