As from 8th March 2025, eBay android app v6.196.0.2, started constantly and randomly crashing on different tasks particularly on search, resetting itself to the main page instead of showing results or completely shutting down with error message, making it almost impossible to use. Restarting the phone, clearing app's cache - nothing helped. On an attempt to update from Google app store, the message displayed: "This app won't work on your device", despite the phone is Sony Xperia 1V running on Android v14. The Google play store itself is up to date. So, no way even to reinstall or update eBay app on the client side.
eBay, please fix it.
