Update to app

I have an iPad Air 2. The eBay app says I need to update but cannot because I only have iOS 15.8 . Why ?

Update to app

Hi, I have exactly the same problem, I also have an iPad Air 2 and what ever I try it won’t let me update the app. I even tried deleting it and reinstalling to try to get an older compatible version (as instructed) but keeps coming up with the pop up: Exit or Update which neither work. So frustrating as I’m selling things on there and can’t see what’s happening… They will have to sort this asap as thousands of people are saying the same thing. What a mess eh?

kind regards

Update to app

According to a post on the UK community boards, the latest version of the eBay app requires Android 10 or later, or iOS 17 or later.

If you cannot upgrade your operating system or find an older version of the app that works with your current operating system, you should still be able to use a browser to go to ebay.co.uk instead.

If eBay browser links are opening in the Android version of the app automatically, you can disable that by going to your device Settings: Apps: eBay: Open by default: Opens supported links and choosing "Don't open in the app". iOS users can tap and hold an eBay browser link and choose "Don't open in the app".
