Re-signing in to a phone with a new account

I have got an android phone from my brother. He told me that he had eBay account in that phone(using eBay app). Unfortunately the phone can not reset to me under the relevant information. My question is, Can i re-signing my eBay account in that phone through the App after re installation or after cleared cache?  Is it shouldn't How can i sign my eBay account with that?? Hope anyone can answer this, very important to me. Thank you

Have you tried signing out of your brother's eBay account in the eBay app and then signing in to yours?

To sign out of an account in the eBay app, from the main page tap on the three bar menu in the upper left corner -- then tap on the username and select "sign out".

After signing out, you should be prompted to sign in or register. Try signing in with your username and password.
