Hello,
I have a problem with Ebay android app. I have newest version of app and i can't log in from few days. It says: network error, try again. It happens when i want to log in by email/username and Google account. I can log in by desktop version, browser only.
My network connection and device, they are working fine, no issues. I'm seller and i'm selling items so i need app because is easier and faster than browser. I have contacted many times with Ebay but no result. Someone can help me? Many thanks in advance.

Are you sure you are using the latest version of the eBay app (now 6.7.0.10)?
What version of Android are you using?

If your Android version is recent enough but you are still having problems getting the latest version of the eBay app, check to make sure you have the latest version of Google Play Services and Google Play Store.
If you cannot get the app to work with your device, you should still be able to use a browser to sign in to ebay.co.uk -- even if it is slower, at least that will allow you to keep track of your selling.

Yes i have newest version of app but i still have a problem with log in. I also have android 10 on my device.
Network error, try again.
I reported this problem to Ebay many times but no result.

If you have not already tried, I would suggest removing the eBay app, restarting your device, and then installing the latest version again from the Google Play Store.
Restarting your device between deleting and installing again ensures you get a clean install.
Verify that what you have is actually the latest version -- if you have an older version of Google Play Store installed, it may not install the latest version of the eBay app. Older versions of the eBay app may no longer work and may produce odd errors.
You might also try posting on the UK discussion boards in case this is a UK-specific problem:

I tried your method (uninstall, restart and install again from Play Store) but i can't log in all the time. I have newest version of app and android 10. I don't know what can I do.
I think, suspect this is something more serious.
Ebay should solve it or made new update.
I can log in to another apps like Paypal, Aliexpress or Gumtree by the way.

What model device are you using?
It is possible that other users of that device model have also experienced problems -- if so, someone may have some suggestions. Try a google search of that model plus "eBay app" and see if any results turn up anything.

For me this is a shame that i can't use app because Ebay is big and well known selling and buying platform.
Using mobile browser (desktop version) is difficult than mobile app is faster and easier.
It takes too long and nobody can't fix it.

Dear Ebay,
If i can log in on desktop version (browser) so I should log in to android app as well i think. It should be fixed by technical team asap. Using desktop site on mobile device is difficult. If problem will not solve and fixed i'm gonna to close my account soon.
