New app causes huge delays in listing

I promised myself years ago I'd never update my ebay app since every update makes listing harder. I accidentally updated recently and it is one of the biggest regrets I have.

Contrary to problems I've seen others have, my ebay app defaults TO 30 day listings, when all I want is good til cancelled. Even when I "sell similar" items and I start with a GTC item, the new listing is for a 30 day item. Has anyone else had this issue? Can I stop it? All I want is GTC.

Also as others have stated, lack of store categories is infuriating. I have to go to desktop and edit everything. Even worse, if I do "sell similar item" so that I can keep the stock text in all of my listings, the OLD store category populates, even though I can't see that in the app.

The new listing tool has slowed down my listing considerably and most days when I would usually list, I say to myself "forget it" so that I don't get infuriated. I sell elsewhere too, so I still make my money, but ebay is losing out on plenty of mine.

Photos take forever to upload on the app, as slow as the website listing tool...buffering buffering...on the previous app before you changed it all to make it worse.....photos uploaded instantly....apps are supposed to make it faster not slower

I have the issue with it defaulting to 30 days instead of Good Till Canceled, but my main problem is it doesn't carry over the description when I use sell simliar from an ACTIVE listing. When I use sell similiar from a SOLD listing it works fine. So I have switched to doing that but it is not ideal becuase I normally list many parts in eBay motors that are simliar from the same bike so being able to sell similiar to an ACTIVE listing and not losing the description would be more useful.

Thanks for the posts. For the slow image uploading, once you select your images and they show they are uploading you can tap done and continue working on the listing and the uploading should continue.

You guys had that exact same problem back in July and told us you were going to fix it. Frustrating when we see you guys answering these like you’ve never heard it before.
