iOS eBay app v5.27.0 cannot remove credit card and error out on adding new one; works in browser tho

Upon paying for a purchased item on eBay app iOS v5.27.0, I was unable to remove old credit card,

and when attempted to add new credit card, it returns with an error message claiming the card could not be add for unclear reason;

retried using mobile chrome browser (requested desktop version page), completed the two actions with no problem at all;

so problem only exist in mobile app version.
