Latest IOS Update now erases handling charges

I use my computer to create a draft for all my listings and then update the photos using my IPad.  One of the recent updates now causes the handling time to be reset to $0 EVERY SINGLE BLANKING TIME!!!!!

This is causing me major issues, I have to now review hundreds of listings to find the ones that are now screwed up and had to edit every single new listing mutliple times.

Why can't you get one single thing right???? Why are WE your testing team.  Please get this fixed.

stop using iOS to insert the photos

Upload to Google photos
Use desktop to pop them in

You are saying: Handling time <- the message body
You are saying: Handling Charges <--in the title

You should be able to sort these in the bulk editor by draft or active to adjust.

If your iPad and Desktop are running different browsers there could be a reason also.

Just upload photos to google or dropbox and list off one device.

Sorry but that's NOT a helpful solution.  I've not had a bit of issue until the most recent update.  EBay just needs to learn how to test software BEFORE releasing.

FYI, if you try to edit the shipping charges in the IOS app you have to enter a package size BEFORE you can select the carrier and type.  Annoying because the package size is not required for all types of shipping (USPS FCP & Priority < 1lb, USPS Flat rate boxes, etc). 

Even if you do enter the package size and weight you aren't given the option of entering a handling charge with calculated shipping.

We would like to double check that it is the handling time setting to 0? Or is it the shipping cost?

Neither.  As stated above, it sets the Handling FEE/CHARGE to zero on the draft.  And if you setup the shipping in the app, it doesn't even display a box to enter a handling charge for calculated shipping during the flow.

This is STILL an issue.  When you edit a draft the handling is removed.  It's extremely inconvenient and frustrating.  It's even MORE infuriating when I found that this has been an issue for OVER A YEAR!!!!!!!!  I recently updated from an IPAD 2, which had an old version of the software and wasn't aware that eBay broke this in EARLY 2018!!!!!

There are SEVERAL threads with this information!  It's shameful that bugs like this linger for months.  And it's not like it's complicated... load the handling charge, save the handling charge.  Fix the edit later.  But eBay can't even handle that I'm sure.

I work for a fortune 100 company on the IT side and as I've said before, the level of dysfunction that is the eBay IT development would not be tolerated.  Heads would (and !have!) roll from the top all the way down.

Has always been a problem for me, too. Basically, rather than publishing listing from iPhone after taking pictures. I go back to laptop and finalize draft there by reinserting handling charge.

What you suggest adds another step between taking the photo and listing the item. It's becoming hard for sellers to justify the effort to list on eBay due to the increased costs, constant changes, bugs and decreased transparency...
