Buggy Posting

I have been having issues with posting these last couple of days, sometimes the app will just get stuck buffering on one certain detail or another and not let me finish the listing. Most of the time though I press "List It" and it just sits there and buffers and buffers and never lists. I have made sure my app is updated, Uninstaller and reinstalled, and cleared the cache. Anyone else experiencing this or know of a way to resolve?

Same. It's been that way for about a week. I have tried all the same things... It'll work for about 3 listings after a phone reboot, then go back to being broken. eBay definitely has an issue to fix with the app.

Thanks for reporting this issue. Can you please let us know a couple things.

1. Which category are you listing in?

2. Are you starting your issue from scratch? Sell one like this? or sell similar?

3. Does this happen on every attempt?

Toys/collectibles (diecast cars)

sell similar (using my own previous ads as a template)

It happens very often, usually every time...

 But sometimes I can get it to work for 1-4 listings by resetting my phone and manually shutting down all apps, but after a few listings... It bugs out again.

 I've been listing the same way for 2 years now, and this issue only started about 2-3 weeks ago. 

 I can list a few items no issue, but eventually I'll get to one that will just have the spinning 'loading' circle when I hit submit at the end go on forever.

 If I back out once it's stuck loading, it will save the draft.....but without most of the info I changed.

 After it does that, if I try to edit the draft, and then back out without submitting, it won't save 90% of what I change (usually I'll upload 6 pics, change title, change description... And when it saves the draft it erases all of that except for 1-2 pics).

 I have cleared cache/memory of app, phone, deleted and reinstalled app, reset phone.  It all fixes it for a bit, but it eventually has the issue come back.

I am mostly listing in clothing but has happened in shoes and toys as well.

I would say 90% of the time I am starting the listing as Sell One Like This

Unless I reboot my phone, in which case it works for a listing or two, yes.

This same issue began for me last night, listing just buffers and never actually lists the item, it won't even save my changes. I list 100% mobile, and this is a huge problem for me.  Has there been a fix yet?

Same exact problem here in Coins. Won't even save my draft changes. The app just sits there and spins. Using Pixel 6 Pro with Android 12 and updated eBay app. Absolutely horrible. Worst I've seen in 20 years. I haven't been able to list anything in days.

Thanks for providing the details of the categories you are using.

Could you also let us know if this is on cellular or wifi?
If on Wifi are you running a VPN or anything else on your wifi network?

Thank you for posting this! I thought it was because it was time I got a new phone.  I have a Samsung S20+ and still have plenty of memory.  But I have to keep clearing out the memory or restart my phone to get the listings to go through.  It is extremely frustrating!  Ebay....fix this issue....please! Been happening for about 5 days now.

1) Toys, Glass, Pottery, Dolls, Clothing, etc....it seems to be in any.

2) Mine are not from scratch. They are drafts I've done on a desktop computer and only need to upload my photos from my cell phone to complete the listing and make it live.

3) It happens 3 out of every 5 listings I try to post.

It is happening while connected to Wifi.  It is my home network and therefore no VPN

Same here, even when connected to wifi, I have to close out of the app entirely. Almost every other action gets stuck and I need to close out entirely and reopen the app to continue, this is pretty bad....

Omg same!!  It just keeps loading into infinity and then when I come back it's basically erased all of my progress. I am primarily listing in well I'm listening in like 10 different categories ..crafting, scrapbooking stickers vintage items collector's items toys, printer ink... It's been happening for a week.. At 1st reloading eBay would work but now it won't even let me post the 1st auction. The hint it won't work is if you change shipping and it won't let you ..like it didn't change when u back out same for auction to buy it now..

No VPN have tried mobile data and changing wifi...thought originally that was problem but it's not have also reinstalled app. Also for some reason it's way worse at night and last 2 days it's every auction I try to do.
