App crash when redeeming points at checkout

Using iOS 16.6

When making a purchase in app and redeeming points in any quantity (can use some or all), the app applies the discount and then immediately crashes. No matter how fast or what form of payment, the applying of points causes a full app crash.

What happens if you use the browser in your device instead of the dreaded app?

If you have a eBay MasterCard, they have a reward system in place for purchases, and then redeeming the points for credits.

I actually ended up trying on the iOS Safari browser, and it went through fine. The website doesn’t really have the opportunity to crash so it just works.
