So what is the category for discussing Ebay policy? Where is the discussion about feedback that won't upload?
I reported a product that was flawed, and the system reported to me "we ran into a problem". So I tested the system: I gave positive review, five stars, wrote "great product!" then added "Don't believe me, this is a feedback test." I then uploaded the same four photos. This feedback did not run into a problem. It sailed into the system.
This lack of transparency is ugly, but not unexpected from a large corporation. Are all products great? should no product ever receive a negative review? If there were a stated explanation like, "please try to work this out with the seller", or even better, if I could review the product and not the seller. No, that would damage sales too much. Is there a reddit for this?

Why would you even think of doing a test by giving a positive feedback?
It is not unusual for the We ran into a problem, try again later message to pop up, but the next try goes through without an issue.
Because the seller is a high volume one, when people look at the seller's feedback profile page, chances are your feedback will be on page 2 or three already, so it benefits no one. Maybe had you looked at the seller's feedback profile before buying from them and clicked on the numbers of negative and neutral feedback to read only those comments. You might have avoided the issue. The first thing you see on a feedback page is the seller's country of registry, in this case China.

With over 130 million users, and two billion listings, you dont expect to hit a glitch once in awhile? Has nothing to do with an ugly 'lack of transparency' on Ebays part, whatever that means.

this was a "glitch" that was persistent over ten efforts to upload. I cyced around and around. Ok, so it's typical for a faulty product to get a bad review? Thanks for feed back, you could be right.

Didn't you mean to direct your reply to the OP? I pretty much said the same thing.
