Did you use a Credit Card or a Bank to make the payment?  If eBay is unable to help you make a complaint to your Credit Card or Bank.

How did you go about asking eBay to intervene? Did you open a Money Back Guarantee case? Those are completely automated, so you don't need someone to respond.

You haven't detailed how or when you were scammed.  eBay's Money Back Guarantee for buyers offers very good help if there is a problem.  Have you read it? Did you use it in this situation?
