eBay just scammed me

I bought three 7 gallon water containers for a total of $45 and a week later it says they've been delivered except nothing was delivered. Also note that the seller has three negative feedbacks that all say my item was never delivered yet it says delivered. 

I filed the complaint, because the seller ghosted me. The day it was supposedly delivered, I called UPS, the courier, and they couldn't tell me what address it was delivered to but they asked me what my address was and they confirmed that it was not sent to my address. Some woman named Heidi received it and it only said tukwila, which is the city I live in. 

eBay took the side of the seller, and said that the seller proved it was shipped to my address. That is impossible because I called UPS and confirmed that it was not shipped to my address. Also in the case history it shows the seller providing a tracking number on two different occasions 3 days apart. I spoke to eBay twice on the phone and both times they reassured me that it would be fixed because it's so obvious that it's a scam. The guy has three negative feedback in the last 6 months saying the same thing. 

Well they have officially decided to take the sellers side. It makes no sense whatsoever. How can I not be protected when I purchase something and it never arrived in the seller is obviously a scammer???

I will never do business with you again because how could I it's simply too unsafe. 

So I'm very interested in learning how exactly I got scammed here because it shouldn't be possible. In fact everyone has a right to know because this person is able to use eBay to scam people successfully. eBay is now a straight up thief who stole my money in broad daylight. There is no argument and it's completely irrefutable. 

Oh yeah if that weren't bad enough I left negative feedback that eBay will not allow to be seen on the sellers page. Even though I completed the process, it just doesn't show up. 

To be honest I do believe eBay is singling me out and intentionally stealing the money because of some personal vendetta they have against me.

Your seller did not ship anything. He purchased an existing tracking number for a valid shipment to your ZIP code. Carriers let you enter an arbitrary tracking number and view the history. What if you had a program that would cycle through all the possible combinations and log the source and destination ZIPs? Once you determine the leading edge of recent shipments, it's easy to harvest one day at a time. The carriers probably throttle the number of queries from a single computer or IP, but that's easy to circumvent with cheap cloud accounts. You can get a VPS account with dedicated IP for $2/month.

The antidote to this scam is to simply request a return with reason "not as described". The seller is likely outside the US and used a fake address during registration. My recent "return" came back as undeliverable. All you're doing is flipping the seesaw so that the seller now has to jump through all the eBay policy hoops. If the case ever made it to a real court, you'd win because someone with a brain would have to consider the evidence. Exactly what you return is up to you. Be creative.

oh trust me when i say i scream at them on social MEDIA ALL THE TIME. THEY EVEN REPLIED AND ADMITTED THEY ARE GUILTY AND STILL SAID GOOD LUCK UDDY DONT LET THE DOOR HIT YA ON THE WAY OUT. THEY ARE SCAMMING ME Intentionally.

ebay already admitted they agree with me but still wont help. nah nah boo boo. is all they had to say.

ebay told me to my face they were wrong but weren't going to do anything about it. they know the truth and there is no need for me to invest time into it further when they already said to my face they were wrong but still wouldn't help.

ebay sent a message admitting fault. but they didn't refund they just admitted they were wrong and suggested I **bleep** off.

hopefully with the proof i got it will be refunded by my bank. this is straight up illegal. eBay should be sued obviously. i would love to hire a lawyer if other victims will help pay for it. ebay is guilty of other even worse crimes that im aware of.

my bank refunded me. I explained the entire situation and hope they go after eBay. eBay is doing all sorts a shady stuff working with the seller behind the scenes and preventing negative feedback.

here is another thing that ebay does that is really really bad. in fact if u mention a word of this to an ebay rep they will cut the conversation off instantly and ghost you forever. ebay says they dont allow ppl to sell insrtgram followers yet theres a constant group of individuals doing so successfully and raking it in. those ppl are actually IG employees who work with ebay to scam ppl. they are allowed to use the logos where as anyone else gets taken down for vero and ebay says someone from ig complained. in reality they take down all opposition and let the ig employee sell fake overpriced followers to the masses.

You  need to get  have  UPS  send you a written document  ,that they never  delivered  it to you in writing  too give your bank .

Thats very dramatic but I seriously doubt thats what Ebay said.
