Hi. I purchased an ozone machine in November, that broke in early January, I reached out to the seller they said they would replace it but they still have not. I am still waiting, and have sent countless messages to them, but now they are not responding. I tired to report them to paypal, but discovered I cannot report it to Paypal customer support because the purchase support/customer service period of the item has closed -- even though there are seller messages that date back to the time when the item was still covered.
What can I do to hold the seller to their word? Is there a way to contact paypal support for this? or is there anything I can do to get my replacement from this unscrupulous seller?
I'm at my wits end. Thank you for any advice!!

EBay's Money Back Guarantee is open for 30 days from delivery.
Paypal allows 180 days from payment and the buyer must pay to return the disputed item.

Card chargeback policies differ from card to card. Most have a 90 to 180 day window from payment. Phone the 1-800 number on the back of the card or on your monthly invoice.

Hey thanks for the reply! Is the resolution center on paypal or ebay? or do you mean with the credit card I bought it with? I was more looking to tell ebay that a seller offering a "lifetime warranty" in their listing is straight up lying, but I cannot say that because the item I bought does not come up when I click "contact support" and I cannot see a way around that obstacle. thanks!

You would have to use Paypal's resolution center since it is too late to use Ebay's 30 day Money Back Guarantee.
OR you can contact the credit card company you used to fund your payment for the item.
Ebay sellers cannot offer "lifetime warranties" unless they are an authorized reseller for the company that manufactures the item.

EBay is out of the picture.
Your next step is Paypal.
If youdid not use Paypal , go directly to the card.

Whose lifetime?
Warranties come from manufacturers.
Most manufacturers will only back their warranty if the purchase was from an authorized dealer, because the line of ownership for them is clear.
Unless you are buying from an authorized dealer, no online purchase will have a useful warranty.
Refurbished products often have a time limited warranty (30 to 60 days) from the refurbisher. "Lifetime" is a meaningless word. Time limited warranties are more reliable.

It should be mentioned that if you open a case with Paypal the part of the listing that's not as described is the warranty, not the item. Both eBay and Paypal state that to be not as described the device has to be nonfunctional when it's received. Anything after that is considered a warranty issue and isn't covered.
