I won a vintage camera lens and had some good communication with seller. Lens arrived and I found out there are some fine scratches on glass. Told the seller and said I would still keep the lens. He said they don't affect image quality. I let him know how I found the scratches by chance (I treated the communcation like what people do at some photography forum, purely a chat). However, seller became quite irrated and demanded me to ship the lens back. I asked him to think twice and he insisted (like an order, with very strong tone and much abusive wording). I could potentially ignore since the transaction is closed. But I thought the lens could mean a lot to him (from previous communications), so I shipped the lens back and he got it. Now he said the hood was brand new but I scratched the lens hood. He also said twice, "Don't let my **** address fool you".
The thing is I didn't scratch the hood and I packed very well. He and I are in different states (quite faraway). So what does he said mean? Does it mean he will come after me? I feel very uncomfortable. Is it some kind of threat? Thank you very much for any suggestions.
