Re: Who screwed with search feature. ?

I still have the drop down menu that shows my recent searches in the search bar, is that what you're talking about? If so, I don't have a clue who screwed with it.

What change are you seeing, exactly?

What browser or app are you using? Latest version?

Any difference if you use another browser?

@mindeyefirestorm.2,

Don't tell anyone I told you this but the people responsible for that are Artie Fischel and Itzel Egents. They work in the I.T. dept.

Re: Who screwed with search feature. ?

Yeah, I agree. When I did a search I always clicked on collectibles from the drop-down menu on the search bar. That option no longer exists, unless you click on advanced search. Then you get a long list of options to filter the search. That's effective to narrow a search, but time consuming. How many buyers will click the advanced options? An extra click - why does eBay make extra steps for buyers and sellers?

Re: Who screwed with search feature. ?

OK. I see what you mean about accessing the drop down menu via messages page. So, how are buyers accessing the drop down menu? My sales are off the last few days and I wonder if it is due to technical glitches.

This Fnig blows.

Why did they have to screw with it?  Why take things that work perfectly fine the WAY THEY ARE, and make it more cumbersome and stupid?

WHY?

It was fine like this:

Re: Who screwed with search feature. ?

Whether you see a category drop-down menu next to the search button may depend on many different factors, including the size of your window or the resolution of your screen, and the zoom level of the page.

Other users may see something different than you are seeing.
