Over the past few days all the auctions I've won has been automatically paid, to a card I don't even want to use. I can't seem to figure out how to stop this or even change it?
The only thing I can see is to delete all the cards and payment methods I have on the account. I want to be able to chose how I pay it, sometimes I use one card for a small purchase or sometimes for a bigger one I may want to use a different method.
Is there anyway to stop this horrible change?

So what about the bad sellers, should ebay punish all sellers because of a minority?
They already do.

Can I ask how in the **bleep** are you supposed to bid on multiple items from the same seller and have them combine shipping for you when this idiotic bull**bleep** system requires every auction based item to be automatically paid the millisecond it ends?

@unemployed_husky
You can ask how, but until the SELLER becomes aware of the problem, and turns OFF the requirements eBay placed on their accounts, the same thing will happen to you each time. It takes two things to make this work for eBay: The seller's preference remaining in the Default to YES ebay provided, and your ID forced to comply.
While all IDs are now forced to comply to make offers, it only works when the seller's buyer requirements remain in the default of YES. EBay continues to AUTO ENROLL BUYER IDs for bidding now. They neglect to tell buyers when the screen appears to select their default payment source to proceed, that "continuing will eliminate the option to combine multiple items, and there will be no more Apple Pay, Google Pay,
Spendable Funds, gift cards, PayPal Credit, PayPal Pay in 4, etc. allowed." It is for the buyer's convenience of course, so they should pony up a payment source and proceed to find out what actually happens with this new "wonderful experience". Gag me with a spoon...LOL

If eBay fails to automatically collect payment from the buyer's pre-selected card, they will treacherously do so from any other source they choose that is not authorized by the buyer for for this transaction. Here I must say that I live in a country where it is impossible to simply withdraw money to store in an account in any foreign bank (including my own PayPal wallet) without paying additional money for it. Usually this is done by third-party services for an additional fee. And for me, storing money on a foreign resource, such as my PayPal account, is great luck. And now, imagine, as soon as I won the lot, eBay steals money from me from my PayPal account, although I indicated my credit card at the bank as the source. I don’t know why this happened, maybe there was some kind of temporary glitch in the server of this bank, or magnetic storms, etc. (because I had all the money what they needed in my bank account), but eBay stole $500 from my private PayPal account, which was not intended for that purpose. I don't know how I should react to this, but I most likely will not use eBay services again, at least if this mode of automatic theft of money from sources not intended for this is still active. I just want to clarify that I almost always pay for my eBay purchases manually within 15 minutes, and with accounts in 3 different banks in my country, I plan very carefully from which bank I need to pay from for each purchase (without using the money that was laboriously transferred from my country to my PayPal wallet).

eBay just screwed buyers by doing auto pay without you wanting it, all about them making more money...

eBay could care less if it hurts you in following their crazy rules !!!!

eBay is crying so hard, and they are doing everything in their power to make the website an exact carbon copy of Amazon's business methods and website layout. That is the sole reason for all of this. Not to mention their CEO's got thrown in jail for threatening journalists and sending them insect infestations and other nasty stuff in the mail.

What I did was to ring PayPal and the agent removed that for me. The agent told me Ebay automatically added that in. Fir me that was like 2 days ago. Once pap Pal removed Auto pay I then had my options to sign into Pay Pal and choose which method I want to use including Pay in 4. Instead if the Pay button that showed up after making the purchase.

I am a seller, I list round 250-300 cards a week in auction. Every week three high end cards get bid on and then the buyer doesn't pay and they have zero feedback. I have to wait a week before cancelling or I get pinged for the %. For years this has happened and its bull**bleep**. You have time, 90 minutes to change your payment method or select the items and pay for the cards together. For 30 years I have dealt with no support for sellers, we cant leave negatives for bad buyers, if you request a return for any reason even buyers remorse we have to return it. People have bought $1500 cards from then smudged them and requested a return. They inspect the card then see it wont grade a 10 then return it and does this over and over and get into no trouble. I also buy stuff and quite literally never waited longer then five minutes after the auction ended to pay. Stop bidding on items if you dont intend to pay. Bidding on an item is a legal contract BASED ON THE AGREEMENT YOU MADE WHEN YOU OPED YOUR ACCOUNT.

They have been punishing us, we cant leave negative feedback, you can make up any excuse and return an item and ebay will sid with buyers everytime. I run auctions every week and every week I have 5-10 items not paid for and its usually the high end items. Buyers need to get three strikes of not paying then get kicked off ebay. Its a legal binding agreement.

@fordscards Where is it written that buyers get booted from eBay with 3 nonpayment strikes?
Can you post a screenshot or link to that policy?
Leaving buyers negative feedback would serve no purpose whatsoever. eBay removed the ability for sellers to leave negative or neutral feedback to buyer due to sellers using it in retaliatory manner.
To halt nonpayment list fixed price with immediate payment required.
