What is this place trying to prove?

I've been buying and selling on ebay since 2000. Today I got a code for a discount, and the ridiculous system won't take. Customer service says "don't split with PayPal and another card.....what kind of ignorant **bleep** was that? I was only using PayPal. eBay is getting to be like an Apple phone. It does all kinds of things, but you have to know how to trick it to make it work. Not buying on eBay until/if they get it figured out

@domineone,

Did you read all of the terms of the coupon?  Some of them are limited to certain categories and only cover new items, some have very short time frames or selected dates during which they can be used.

Do you have the full amount of the total in your PayPal balance, or is it pulling from your balance and another source to cover the total?

**bleep** you ebay!  The nerve of you giving us a $25 credit and making it so hard to redeem!

Re: What is this place trying to prove?

Worked for me, smooth as silk, easy peasy.😁

The $25 was deducted from the price of item after I entered the code in the box on the checkout page.

(I used Paypal to process my credit card payment.)
