Hi I purchased an item and USPS today said the package was delivered. I have cam footage showing my mail man dropping off my mail and an amazon package but not this item. I've tried contacting the seller who just told me to contact the post office who in turn told me to contact the seller. When I notify the seller he just say something along the lines of its my problem because the tracking show it is delivered. While telling me to go to the post office to show them the video....
I really don't want to go to the post office to show them a video. The line is extremely long and I have classes and work during those times.
So I am a bit confused on what to do next.....

It is not the responsibility of the seller nor ebay to refund you if the tracking number/scans show the item as "DELIVERED”. You must take on the responsibility of locating the item:

The seller is ultimately responsible for the buyer receiving an item that exactly matches the listing description.
If the buyer pulls a damaged item out of the box, it doesn't match the description. Therefore, insurance is for the seller's benefit only. In order to be refunded, the buyer would need to ship the item back (using a prepaid return label) for the seller to make an insurance claim.
In short: Seller refunds Buyer; Carrier refunds Seller.

No, what should happen is that the seller files the claim, and if requested, the BUYER takes the package to USPS(or has them pick it up). Sometimes photos from the buyer will suffice if the value is low enough.
Shipping the package back would void the insurance, as USPS couldn't know where the damage occurred.
