There is a seller that adds a shipping fee AFTER you win a "FREE SHIPPING" listing and you cannot get in actual contact with Ebay. I don't understand why they don't make this all easier if they actually want us to continue buying from their site but it hasn't changed for years and it is incredibly frustrating. This particular seller's feedback has been going down hill for a bit now because of this practice but Ebay doesn't help. **bleep**? What do the buyers have to do to matter to Ebay????

If you go to help and contact and scroll down the page there is a spot to open a chat (chat with us) and they should be able to help you. If the seller keeps doing what you are saying they will eventually get suspended and then if they keep it up they will get booted. This is very against the rules unless the buyer asks for a different shipping method than what is being offered for free

Tell the seller that the listing had free shipping and they can't charge you for it.
You are only required to pay what was shown in the listing.
You can report the seller here.

Are you seeing the added sales tax? US buyers in all except 4 states have been paying sales tax for a while now on internet purchases shipped to their home. Sellers can't change the shipping or add any fees after the item sells. eBay collect the sales tax to be paid to the state/city/county the buyer lives in.

It sounds like you're using that glitchy mobile app. Are you? The app has a bug in it. I haven't seen complaints for a while, so I thought eBay had corrected the problem... silly me. The bug is that the app will sometimes show that a listing has free shipping, when it wasn't listed as free at all. And when you check it with a computer, you see that there is shipping.
edited to add ~ I see that @downunder-61 told you the same thing. Great minds think alike... and so do ours!
