Defected items

I recently bought an item that was defected due to not meeting safety requirements. I checked out as a guest and want to contact the seller or eBay about the item but eBay it is so difficult to navigate to contact either the seller or a eBay representative to talk to regarding my order. If anyone has this experience, please leave a message here with your order number and I will contact eBay with all the unsatisfied customers order number to see if they will do something this.

To return your defect @ryan.6098 follow these steps here. eBay is self-help, so contacting eBay won't help.

What did you buy and what exactly is the defect? What safety requirement does it fail to meet?

Whose safety requirements, yours or your Government's requirements?

However, those policies are for the U.S. Based site (ebay.com) Since your location is Hong Kong, If you bought as a guest on the China site (ebay.cn.) or the U.K. site (ebay.com.uk) the rules may be different.  You can do an online search for "Buying as a guest on ebay China or ebay U.K.".
