Anyone else frustrated by the insistent China listings that come up even when you choose US Only for item location? I don't care where they ship from. I don't trust the vendors period. But, I get 3 or 4 pages seller in China. ebay change the search parameters. A US only search should mean US item location AND US vendors.

When you are searching for an item, always check the seller's feedback profile page to find out where the seller is located.

Because ebay helped many China based sellers register in the U.S. it can be hard to tell where they are actually located or ship from. As madonna wrote checking each seller's feedback profile before buying from them, may tell you if they are registered in China but not always. Not using Price: lowest first, my help reduce the number of chinese sellers in a search.
Below is a list of the things I look for to weed out chinese sellers or drop shippers.

On feedback profile pages;

A US only search should mean US item location AND US vendors.
eBay only provides a way to search by item location, not seller location. And the item location information is provided by the seller. eBay has no way to know in advance where the seller might ship from. Unless other buyers provide feedback, it is hard to know if a seller registered overseas is shipping from a US warehouse or not. And some sellers registered in the US may in fact drop-ship from overseas warehouses as well.
In the US at least, when faced with a long list of search results that you want to narrow down to sellers that can ship and deliver quickly, using the "Guaranteed Delivery" filter will often help; very few sellers that ship from overseas qualify. That is a rough filter, though -- many domestic sellers may be filtered out as well.
If no sellers can deliver to your area in four days, try changing your zip code and searching again -- the trick is to find sellers that can reliably deliver somewhere in the US in four days; the actual delivery time to your location is not material as long as it filters out sellers shipping from overseas. Just be sure to change your zip code back before you place an order to see the correct shipping calculations.

While I agree with you wholeheatedly, eBay will not get rid of them. And they will not go away until they stop selling. People are cheap, so they keep buying.
But I do think that eBay should change how those listings come up. Now, if you look to the right of the listing, it will say China Seller, so just check that before we buy.

So you want eBay to help you discriminate based on the nationality of the seller?

EBay is consciously playing games. They know these sellers are by and large dishonest and they still will not include a search parameter for VENDOR VENDOR VENDOR location. Not just item location.
I DO NOT BUY FROM COMMUNIST CHINA SELLERS PERIOD. WAREHOUSES IN THE USA OR NOT. If that offends anyone it really is too bad. These sellers are not cooperative and they do not sell quality items. Stop with the woke garbage. I'm not impressed.

Ditto, none of the filters work, advanced search settings do not work to limit visibility of US Only Seller items, still China, Thailand Global Seller/items show up. Definitely buy American but it's more a preference of buying from those actually based in NA/US. Everything is made in China for now!
