I use feedback as a means to "weed out" sellers and buyers I won't deal with again, depending on the transaction. If I buy /win a lot of items from a seller, and I never even receive a "thank you" or any other message, and no feedback either, I'll never buy from them again. I've even been "stiffed" on feedback hundreds of times over the years, by sellers that don't leave feedback even after receiving positive feedback....and won't even respond to a simple feedback request. It's the ultimate insult, and inexcusable.
If a buyer gets a great deal from me (all of my items have Make Offer) , and I never receive a response to my post-sale thank you message, never receive feedback, etc. .... they're blocked. I won't waste time with them again. I also won't leave feedback for a buyer who has a "0" under "Feedback left for others". In most cases, those types also never reply to messages. Communication is key in business....and life...and I don't give any slack to those that choose to ignore it.
